N-HANCE BF13 Cationic Guar by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a thickener and conditioning agent. This quaternary polymer is a medium-cationic-substitution, high-molecular-weight polymer. It is boron-free which differentiates it from typical cationic guars. It is substantive to anionic surfaces such as skin and hair. Upon dilution of the surfactants with water, the cationic guar will complex with the anionic surfactants.
