EUXYL K 702 is a liquid cosmetic preservative, which can be used
in leave-on as well as rinse-off products.
EUXYL K 702 was developed for use in cosmetic formulations
with a skin-friendly pH value of up to 6. euxyl® K 702 is particularly
effective in non-ionic systems. It has a broad, balanced
spectrum of effect against bacteria, yeasts and mould fungi as
well as a good vapour phase effectiveness.

EUXYL K 940 is a liquid cosmetic preservative based on phenoxyethanol,
benzyl alcohol and ethylhexylglycerin. The addition of
ethylhexylglycerin affects the interfacial tension at the cell membrane
of microorganisms, improving the preservative activity of
phenoxyethanol and benzyl alcohol.

EUXYL K 900 is a liquid cosmetic preservative based on benzyl
alcohol and ethylhexylglycerin. The addition of ethylhexylglycerin
affects the interfacial tension at the cell membrane of microorganisms,
improving the preservative activity of benzyl alcohol.
Its use is permitted both in products that remain on the skin as
well as in rinse-off products.

EUXYL K 350 is fully effective both in anionic as well as cationic and non-ionic systems. Acidic pH values have no negative influence on the effectiveness. High pH values (> pH 8.0) should be avoided. The recommended use levels relate to the total formulation in each case. The values given are recommended guidelines. The optimum use level should be evaluated by means of a repeated challenge test (e.g. at schülke Technical and Microbiological department).
