ADDITOL® VXW 6208/60 is a dispersing and wetting additive for inorganic and organic pigments and extenders. Polymeric non-ionic dispersing and wetting additive for solvent-borne. SETAL A F 48 TB/X is in the formulation of high-quality, air and force-drying industrial coatings, radiator paints, special effect finishes, primers and DIY paints. SETAL A F 48 TB/X is the standard binder for air and force-drying industrial coatings. Itsmain characteristics are its rapid drying (four-hour coating), good through-drying and curing to formdefect-free films, even in thick coats. It also yields good film properties - whiteness, resistance to yellowing, gloss and gloss retention, brilliance, body, flow and weather stability. SETAL A F 48 TB/X can be used in primers as well as in all types of top coats and one-coat finishes. Coatings based on SETAL A F 48 TB/X can be applied using conventional methods such as spraying, dipping and flow coating. A combination of 0.1 % Ca/0.06 % Co/0.2 % Zn and 0.2 % Zr-octoate, calculated as metal on solvent-free resin, has proved to be a useful mixture for speeding up the drying. Combination with long-oil alkyd resins is necessary for DIY paints applied by brushing.
