A-C 6 is a low density polyethylene (LDPE) homopolymer in a prill form, for use in solvent borne coatings, heatset and liquid solvent borne inks, to improve surface properties such as rub, mar & abrasion resistance, by lowering the COF. It is also used as a gellant for hydrocarbon oils, a paraffin crystal nucleator in wax blends such as candles, and a viscosity diluent in HMAs. Can also be partially substituted for FT (Fisher Tropsch) Wax in adhesive applications without detracting from formulation properties. Used in cable flooding compounds, along with polybutene.

ACUMIST A12 is Micronized Oxidized Polyethylene Homopolymer for use in water based coatings, flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes. It also can be used as a processing aid, matting and antissetling agent in paints.

ACUMIST D-6 is micronized Polyethylene Homopolymer for use and general purpose solvent borne coatings, stains and lacquers, and gravure inks. It provides a good balance of properties where economics are of paramount concern.

ACUMIST C-5 is medium particle size micronized Polyethylene Homopolymer for use in solvent borne coatings and solvent based flexographic inks. As with all ACumist products, it is insoluble in solvents and UV based monomers and oligomers at room temperature. best suited goroffset inks, can coatings , and all thin film solvent based coatings.
