Because of the relatively high acid value of SETAL A F 681 TBA, the following driers should be used: 0.04 % colbalt 6, 1.20 % zirconium 18 and 0.20 % calcium 4. The metal content is always calculated on the solvent-free resin. The use of these driers ensures good drying stability, even after prolonged storage. The addition of an anti-skinning agent is recommended. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are used to thin SETAL A F 681 TBA. Higher boiling fractions are particularly suitable for adjusting the brushing viscosity. Standard pigments can be used to colour the formulations. The compatibility with alkaline pigments must always be tested in each individual case
