ROSKYDAL K 65 is a binder for highly filled, coarse and fine knifing fillers for use on metal, wood and mineral substrates. Fillers based on ROSKYDAL K 65 cure fully when applied in both thin and thick coats. They can be made harder by the addition of, for example, ROSKYDAL K 14 M or ROSKYDAL K 36. General SETAL A F 681 TBA is low-viscosity long-oil alkyd resin which is ideal for use in the formulation of DIY and decorative paints with excellent through-drying, a dust-free drying time of approx. 3.5 hours and a tack-free drying time of approx. 6 hours. Because of the relatively high acid value of SETAL A F 681 TBA, the following driers should be used: 0.04 % colbalt 6, 1.20 % zirconium 18 and 0.20 % calcium 4. The metal content is always calculated on the solvent-free resin. The use of these driers ensures good drying stability, even after prolonged storage. The addition of an anti-skinning agent is recommended. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are used to thin SETAL A F 681 TBA. Higher boiling fractions are particularly suitable for adjusting the brushing viscosity. Standard pigments can be used to colour the formulations. The compatibility with alkaline pigments must always be tested in each individual case

ADDITOL VXL 4930 may be used in all solvent-containing and water-dilutable paint systems. It promotes the spray dust absorption, prevents orange peel and increases scratch resistance. ADDITOL VXL 4930 is effective at low concentrations and at the correct dosage, does not adversely affect intercoat adhesion. Blistering, cratering and floating in pigment blends are effectively prevented. It does not stabilize the foam during paint production and application. The substrate wetting is advanced.ADDITOL VXL 4930 is used primarily in industrial stoving/baking paints and 2K PUR paint systems.
