Beckocoat PU 428 has also proved an ideal vehicle for coating sports articles like spears, bowling pins, golf balls, bats, hockey sticks, tennis rackets, etc. In exterior use, Beckocoat PU 428 will lose gloss and will yellow. Weather resistance and gloss retention can be enhanced through coemploying alkyd resins like VIALKYD AR 408.

Beckocoat VPU 4204 is used as sole binder. The degree of flatness or brilliance can be varied to desire by combining it with Beckocoat PU 428. For special outlets it is possible to mix Beckocoat VPU 4204 with suitable colouring pastes shortly before application (concrete paints).
