BECKOCOAT PU 428/51XMPAC is a rapid curing. Radiant brilliance. Superior abrasion resistance. Outstanding impact resistance, excellent adhesion. Floor sealers, wood coating, concrete impregnation. Crosslinker for alkyd resins in two-component systems.The extreme abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance make Beckocoat PU 428 films cured with the action of air humidity an excellent sealer and impregnation medium for concrete, a binder for non-slip coatings, for concrete coatings resistant to fuel oil and abrasion, for instance in garages, or for floorings and coatings for walls and ceilings in laboratories, chemical factories, etc. The films cure to radiant brilliance and can also be recommended for wooden floors subject to heavy wear like in bowling alleys, roller skating rinks, dancing halls, gymnasiums and schools. Beckocoat PU 428 has also proved an ideal vehicle for coating sports articles like spears, bowling pins, golf balls, bats, hockey sticks, tennis rackets, etc. In exterior use, Beckocoat PU 428 will lose gloss and will yellow. Weather resistance and gloss retention can be enhanced through coemploying alkyd resins like VIALKYD AR 408.
SETATHANE D 1160

SETATHANE D 1160 is applied in combination with solvent-free, predominantly aromatic polyisocyanates, as a binder for flexible floor coatings. It is the most suitable co-reactant for SETATHANE D 1160 is Desmodur VH 20 N. Other polyisocyanates such as Desmodur VL are also suitable but the compatibility must be tested in each case. SETATHANE D 1160 can be used in the formulation of flexible floor coatings. Coatings based on SETATHANE D 1160 and Desmodur VH 20 N are characterized by their high flexibility and good mechanical strength.
SETATHANE D E 2767

SETATHANE D E 2767 is applied in combination with aromatic polyisocyanates based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate as binder for solvent-free two-component polyurethane coatings with high chemical resistance for concrete and other porous substrates, fillers, sealing compounds and synthetic resin mortars. SETATHANE D E 2767 is suitable for the formulation of coatings, mortars and sealers with high chemical resistance. Coatings formulated with SETATHANE D E 2767 generally exhibit outstanding resistance to organic and inorganic acids, alkalis and solvents. Over-cross linking of 50 % and more is usual. This allows a wide-ranging variation in flow and chemical resistance. To ensure blister-free curing, SETATHANE D E 2767 requires the addition of hydrated lime in accordance with DIN EN 12 518 (or cement if necessary) as a CO2 scavenger. In certain cases where the film thickness is less than 100 μm, there is no need to add hydrated lime.
LGE

LGE is a reactive diluent which is glycidyl ether of a mixture of C12 - C14 aliphatic alcohols used in order to reduce the viscosity of Epoxy Resin. LGE is a monofunctional reactive diluent which has low toxicity, low vapor pressure and low volatile content. Also, LGE provides good flexibility and adhesion on nonpolar surfaces. Therefore, LGE can be used in various paints, floor coating, etc.
