Phenethyl Alcohol Ethylhexylglycerin

SENSIVA PA 20 is a multifunctional cosmetic additive based on ethylhexylglycerin and phenethyl alcohol. Its unique properties make it suitable for the use in a wide range of cosmetic applications. It combines the excellent skin care and deodorising properties of ethylhexylglycerin with the antimicrobial properties of phenethyl alcohol. Phenethyl alcohol is a nature-identical fragrance ingredient with a mild flowery rose-like scent which can mask possible unpleasant odours of other ingredients. Its antimicrobial properties are enhanced by the boosting effect of ethylhexylglycerin. sensiva® PA 20 is suitable as an antimicrobial stabiliser for preservative-free cosmetics.
EUXYL® K 500

EUXYL® K 500 is a mix of formaldehyde donor and organic acids. It has strong broad spectrum efficacy, effective in rinsing systems. It has vapor phase activity and is 100% water soluble. It reduces discoloration of organic acids. Effective pH<7 Max temperature 80ºC.
EUXYL K 700

Phenoxyethanol Benzyl Alcohol Potassium Sorbate Aqua Tocopherol

EUXYLK 700 is a liquid cosmetic preservative, which can be used in leave-on as well as rinse-off products. EUXYL K 700 was developed for use in cosmetic formulations with a skin-friendly pH value up to 5.5. EUXYL K 700 has a broad, balanced spectrum of effect against bacteria, yeasts and mould fungi as well as a good vapour phase effectiveness. As a result of the special preparation, the tendency to discolouration known for sorbic acid can be reduced or prevented. In addition EUXYL K 700 can be stored for a longer period.
S&M METHYLPARABEN

Methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate

S&M METHYLPARABEN is fully effective both in anionic as well as cationic systems. Acidic pH values have no negative influence on the effectiveness. High pH values (> pH 8.0) should be avoided. S&M METHYLPARABEN proved to have good chemical compatibility with anionic surfactants such as sulphates, ether sulphates and sulphosuccinates, as well as with non-ionogenic surfactants. Ethoxylated surfactants may lead to loss of effectiveness.
