A-C 6A

A-C 6A is a low density polyethylene (LDPE) homopolymer in a powdered form, for use in solvent borne coatings, heatset and liquid solvent borne inks, to improve surface properties such as rub, mar & abrasion resistance, by lowering the COF. It is also used as a gellant for hydrocarbon oils, a paraffin crystal nucleator in wax blends such as candles, and a viscosity diluent in HMAs. Can also be partially substituted for FT (Fisher Tropsch) Wax in adhesive applications without detracting from formulation properties. Used in cable flooding compounds, along with polybutene. Is used as a dispersing agent in color masterbatch applications.
A-C 629

A-C 629 is a low density Oxidized Polyethylene (LDOxPE) homopolymer in prill form for use in solvent borne coatings as a rheological aid. It also finds use as a metal release agent in PVC. It can also be atmospherically emulsified for use in aqueous applications, such as textiles, lubricants, coatings and inks, to lower the COF and provide surface properties such as mar & abrasion resistance and increased slip.
A-C 400A

A-C 400A is an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer in powder form, with a VA content of 13%, used extensively in hot melt adhesives (HMAs) to control rheology and boost adhesion. It can be added as a diluent but provides the dual function of reducing application viscosity at melt, while providing an adhesion boost versus homopolymer, non functional diluents (FT, byproduct, thermally degraded (TD) and PE homopolymer waxes). It is completely miscible in EVA adhesive resins, as would be expected by the similar chemistry. It is also used in candles to provide paraffin crystal nucleation, which raises thermal and breakage resistance, adhesion to glass, and fragrance retention. Is also a dispersing agent for color masterbatch in stryenic resins. Excellent dispersing agent and process aid for EVA-based wire and cable compounds.
A-C 316A

A-C 316A is a hard, high drop point, high density, oxidized polyethylene (HDOxPEs) homopolymer, in finer powder form than A C 316, for use in waterborne coatings and inks, overprint varnishes, polishes and textiles to improve surface properties including mar and abrasion resistance by lowering the coefficient of friction. In textiles, this can help improve sewability and fabric cutting, helping to extend cutting machine lifetime. Its acid number of 16 allows it to be emulsified into water. Can also provide heat resistance to hot melt adhesives (HMAs). In addition, may be used as a metal release agent for PVC processing and is a fusion control for PVC formulations. It will not affect clarity in transparent PVC applications. Very effective for use in processing PVC regrind.
