It is an acrylate-based technology with unique hydrophobic properties which brings clarity, thickening and suspension performance of particles and beads to cleansing products. It is compatible with a variety of ingredients commonly used in rinse off formulations including various surfactants, salts, and cationics. SurfaThix™ N polymer offers improved foam density (creamy lather), smoother dry-feel in finished formulations and can be easily rinsed-off. In hair care products, it offers improved dry comb in silicone containing shampoo, smooth feel on wet hair and enhanced detangling. Suggested for use in body and hand washes, facial cleansers and shampoo formulations.

LUBRAJEL BA hydrogel is a clathrate of glyceryl acrylate and glyceryl polyacrylate that encloses water molecules via hydrogen bonding and Van der Waals forces. As supplied, this product contains about 50 weight % water. Since it binds moisture and is a highly viscous gel, Lubrajel™ BA hydrogel is an ideal ingredient to provide moisture to the mouth.
