Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine mainly used to treat allergies. It can also be used for insomnia, symptoms of the common cold, tremor in parkinsonism and nausea. 

Guaifenesin is a medication used to try to help cough out phlegm from the airways. It is often used in combination with other medications.
