It does not contain formaldehyde or any formaldehyde-releasing substances and conforms to the regulations of the EC cosmetics law. It has proven to be an effective preserving system for rinse- off-products like shampoos, shower-gels, foam-baths etc. 

OPTIPHEN PLUS preservative by Ashland Specialty Chemical is a preservative. It is free of paraben, formaldehyde or halogens. It provides broad-spectrum protection against bacteria, yeast, fungi and mold. It offers excellent heat stability, work across a wide pH window and easy solubilization in water.

PROTECTAGEN biofunctional by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a hair growth promoter and sunscreen agent. Protectagen™ is a rice extract found to boost proteins linked to stem cell functions ex-vivo to optimize hair growth cycle. This product may help preserve against harmful sun exposure, evidenced by the lower expression of P53 markers ex-vivo.

PROCATALINE G2  biofunctional by Ashland is a natural, botanical extract designed to help protect, detox hair and purify the scalp. It offers superior antioxidant defence against air pollution. It is extracted from pea (Pisum Sativum) and chia (Salvia Hispanica) seeds and rich in peptides, amino acids, polysaccharides, polyphenols and minerals. It helps reduce tryptophan damage when hair is exposed to certain air pollutants and limit the visible decrease in VEGFA microcirculation marker induced by exposure to certain air pollutants. It reduces stratum corneum oxidative damage, sensitivity, redness and desquamation and increases scalp hydration and barrier function. It also contributes to balance scalp oiliness and decreases scalp flakes and irritation. It contains sodium benzoate as a preservative.
