ADDITOL VXL 6237 N improves the wetting of very difficult-to-disperse pigments, specially in aromatic free solventborne highgrade automotive series, car repair and industrial paints. Shortens the dispersing time. Prevents the reflocculation of the pigments. Improves gloss and levelling. ADDITOL VXL 6237 N permits a higher pigmentation of the mill base without increasing viscosity and shortens the dispersing time. The ready pigment pastes and paints are distinguished by a high colloidal stability and do not tend to a reflocculation of the pigments. By using ADDITOL VXL 6237 N in solvents containing acrylate systems, a stabilizing effect on the binder can be observed.

ADDITOL VXW 4973 is an easily emulsifiable defoamer with very good incorporating ability. It is suited for defoaming of coarse-disperse to fine-disperse (plastic) dispersions on the basis of PVAC, PVC, acrylates and their copolymerisates. Also low-viscous products may be defoamed with ADDITOL VXW 4973.

ADDITOL XL 121 is a paint additive to enhance mar resistance and levelling of air drying and stoving paints, particularly for silicone modified air drying and stoving alkyd resins. ADDITOL XL 121 is a silicone containing paint additive supplied as low-viscous solution. ADDITOL XL 121 enhances mar resistance of solvent-borne paints by reducing the surface resistance of the paint film. ADDITOL XL 121 improves levelling and prevents film structures and thus enhances film performance in general. ADDITOL XL 121 is suited for air drying alkyds, stoving alkyds, thermosetting acrylic resins, nitrocellulose paints, acid curing paints, alkyd-acrylate-isocyanate systems, and particularly for air drying and stoving-silicone modified alkyd resins. The effect of ADDITOL XL 121 depends on the type of paint system and on the formulation. The quantity of ADDITOL XL 121 may range from 0.1 - 0.5 % on paint as a guide.

ADDITOL VXW 4940N is the lead-free combination drier. ADDITOL VXW 4940N produces in water-dilutable alkyd resin paints a quick set-drying in connection with an even trough-drying. ADDITOL VXW 4940N contains all metals which are necessary for an utmost oxidative drying. Adding any other drier is not necessary. Resydrol AY 586w, Resydrol AY 466w, Resydrol AZ 436w, because contrary to conventional driers a homogeneous distribution is provided and therefore a quick drying and most of all good drying stability can be achieved. ADDITOL VXW 4940N can also be used for acryl-alkyd hybrid systems.
