PLEXTOL D 512: multipurpose acrylic binder. PLEXTOL D 512 is a finely dispersed aqueous dispersion of a methacrylic ester-acrylic ester copolymer. The dispersion contains an anionic emulsifier system and is free from APEOs, film forming aids, solvents and plasticizers.

PLEXTOL D 276: binder for self-adherent coatings. PLEXTOL D 276 is an aqueous emulsion of a thermoplastic acrylic polymer.

VIACRYL VSC 6273W/44WA is applied in combination with hexamethoxymethylmelamine (HMMM, e. g. Cymel 303 or Cymel 1130) stoving enamels with high gloss, good outdoor-durability and little yellowing are achieved. Stoving conditions are from 30 min/140 °C to 20 min/160 °C. For the lower temperature range of 120 - 140 °C Viacryl VSC 6276w/44WA is preferred in combination with reactive waterdilutable melamine resins, such as Cymel 325 or Cymel 327.

PYRATEX 240 is an aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of butadiene, styrene and 2-vinylpyridine. The emulsifier used is a colophony soap. PYRATEX 240 contains approximately 15 % per weight of vinylpyridine bound in the polymer.
