Springtheskin comes from sedum Samentosum, used as a botanical medicine in Korea and China to treat redness and burns. Arbutin is a water soluble active produced by chemical synthesis. It is one of the main components of Ericaceae, a glycosylated hydroquinone. It inhibits tyrosinase, preventing melanin formation. It also reduces senile keratosis and pigmented lesions.
