PLASDON K29/32 polymer by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a rheology modifier. It is a stable, water-soluble polyvinylpyrrolidone that meets U.S., European and Japanese pharmacopoeia specifications for Povidone. It forms complexes with catechins, just as it does with many other compounds that cause discoloration of teeth. The polymer can be effectively used to bind and remove stains through hydrogen bonding with chemical compounds.

PEROXYDONE K-30 complex by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a whitening agent. It is a highly stable, solid complex of hydrogen peroxide with pharmaceutical-grade polyvinylpyrrolidone. It is stable in a wide range of solvents and provide excellent substantivity, bioadhesion, film-forming and formulation thickening. It releases hydrogen peroxide on contact with water or saliva, resulting in brighter and whiter teeth.

ISP - STABILEZE QM polymer by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a rheology modifier. It is based on methylvinylether/maleic anhydride and delivers exceptional thickening, suspending and stabilizing capability in aqueous and non-aqueous systems, even at low use levels or low pH. It disperses easily in water and forms clear, aqueous gels. Its shear-thinning properties allow strong gels with quick break for processing, spreading and dispensing. Moreover, it formulates into clear products and is effective over wide pH range. It imparts exceptional skin feel and stability to emulsions. It can create sprayable polyelectrolyte matrix when formulated with linear, high molecular weight cationic or pseudocationic polymers. It is compatible with a wide range of ingredients including polyquaterniums and has limited compatibility with salts & some anionic surfactants.
