OPTIPHEN BD is based on a combination of Benzoic Acid and Dehydroacetic Acid in Benzyl Alcohol. It does not contain formaldehyde or any formaldehyde-releasing substances and conforms to the regulations of the EC cosmetics law. It has proven to be an effective preserving system for rinse- off-products like shampoos, shower-gels, foam-baths etc. 

ROKONSAL BSB-N is a combination of Benzoic and Sorbic acids in Benzyl alcohol. The ingredients of Rokonsal™ BSB conform to the German BDIH recommendation for Natural Cosmetic Products and the recommendations of the ”Conseil de l’Europe“. Due to the organic acids, Rokonsal™ BSB may be classified as a ""mild preservative"", provided the pH of the final product is not higher than 5. It is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and moulds at acid pH values.

GERMALL PLUS LIQUID preservative by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a preservative. It is very effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It delivers efficient antimicrobial power and balanced, synergistic & boasting broad-spectrum protection. Moreover, it is compatible with many other cosmetic ingredients. It is effective at low dose and can be used to bolster other preservatives.

 GERMAL II preservative by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a preservative. It delivers efficient antimicrobial power and balanced, synergistic & boasting broad-spectrum protection. It is compatible with many other cosmetic ingredients. It provides broad-spectrum activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is effective at low dose.
