TEGOSOFT® MM is a vegetable based cosmetic wax of high purity and gives body to emulsions. It melts above body temperature is a weak consistency-enhancer in W/O emulsions and stable to oxidation. TEGOSOFT® MM is especially suitable for skin care products, e. g. bodylotions, handcreams, nightcreams and eyecreams and decorative preparations, especially with low content of liquid emollients, e. g. sticks.

ABIL® 350 is a silicone oil that provides a moisture barrier for skin care of skin protection formulations. The beneficial influence of the ABIL® 350 on the spreadability of cosmetic emulsions is due to its highly hydrophobic character, low interfacial tension and good spreading effect. It improves the protection of skin care and skin protection preparations against aqueous media.

ABIL® B 8832 by Evonik acts as a non-ionic silicone conditioning agent and hydrophilic emollient. Also acts as a surfactant. It improves synergistically the conditioning properties of cationic polymers like Polyquaternium-10 and cationic guar. It is cold processable. Provides a pleasant feel and smoother skin when used in skin cleansing products. Contributes to improved rheology and gel strength of water-in-Si emulsions. 

ABIL® Wax 9801 is a liquid to waxy organopolysiloxane, which is synthesized by linking polydimethyl siloxanes with long chain hydrocarbons. ABIL® Wax 9801 is soluble in all oils and waxes commonly used in cosmetics. The good spreadablity and the emollient-effect of the ABIL® Waxes enable them to improve the application and skin care properties of formulations. They also can contribute to wash resistance. Due to it's spreading effects on skin ABIL® Wax 9801 will increase the effectivity of UV-filters in emulsions. Thus it is possible to reduce the level of UV-filters and maintain the SPF. For emulsions only based on either organic filters or on only physical filters ABIL® Wax 9801 is especially suitable.
