ADDITOL VXW 6386 Easy emulsifable defoamer, espacially for high quality waterborne sytems, at there conventionally mineral-oil or silicon based defoamers cause decrease the surface quallity of the film (orange peel, craters). At forced and stoving drying paints it can observed a higher cissing free filmthickness. ADDITOL VXW 6386 is qualified for following waterborne systems: stoving enamel based on alkyd- or acrylic-melamine resin, 2 component acrylic-isocyanate paints, paints based on waterdilutable alkyd resin and gloss and semigloss dispersion paint.

ROSKYDAL K 65 is a binder for highly filled, coarse and fine knifing fillers for use on metal, wood and mineral substrates. Fillers based on ROSKYDAL K 65 cure fully when applied in both thin and thick coats. They can be made harder by the addition of, for example, ROSKYDAL K 14 M or ROSKYDAL K 36. Formulation Combinations of talc, dolomite/calcite and baryteswith lowiron content have proved suitable as extenders, with talc as the main component because it improves the adhesion to the substrate.

The tendency to flow off is reduced and the covering of edges is improved. Suggested for all solvent based and solvent-free paint systems. ADDITOL XL 270 is usually compatible with solvent based and solvent-free binders. It prevents the sedimentation of pigments in paints. The rheological character of paints is improved. The tendency to flow on vertical surfaces is reduced. The edges of substrates are better covered in case of dipping application. The drying of oxidatively drying systems is not influenced by ADDITOL XL 270, if the appropriated dose is used. Also the efficiency of siccatives in paints, stored for a long time, is not reduced using ADDITOL XL 270. Considering anti-corrosive paints, there is no corrosion-resistance loss by using ADDITOL XL 270. It is recommended to be used for the activating of organophile bentonites and it improves the effect of pyrogene silica.

As a flow- and pumpable paste ADDITOL XL 280 prevents settling and improves wetting of pigments in solvent- and waterborne paints systems. ADDITOL XL 280 improves paint stability. ADDITOL XL 280 is a highly effective additive for all industrial finishes. The easy handling of this material, owing to its favourable rheological properties, saves material and manufacture costs and simplifies the dosage. Difficult dispersible pigments and extenders are more easily and rapidly wetted and stabilized by the action of ADDITOL XL 280. The rheological properties of the coating are favourably affected leading to less tendency to run-off on vertical surfaces and improving edge coverage in dip coating.
