WILLOW BARK 30% EXTRACT, of the family Saliaceae and genus Salix, is a common species in North America. The extract is made by an aqueous infusion technique from freshly harvested bark collected in the spring. The freshly prepared extract is then concentrated by vacuum distillation to reach a standard of 30% salicylic acid.
