Luna-CRYL 710 is a glycidyl functional acrylic resin which can be used as a curing agent for saturated carboxyl polyesters having low acid values (i.e. 33) to produce exterior durable powder coatings with dead matte to low gloss finishes (60° gloss range 0–20). Lunacryl 710 offers improved flexibility as compared to its predecessor, Lunacryl 700.
Luna-MER MB-68 is a crosslinkable matting agent for epoxy and/or epoxy/polyester powder coatings, which provides consistent gloss when cured at 180°C minimum. 60° gloss range between 0-25% can be achieved.
Luna-MER B55-LC is the salts of polycarboxylic acid cyclic amidine. The hardener, applied in suitable formulations can produce epoxy or hybrid coatings for matt or semimatt gloss with very good flow and properties. Variation between matt and semi-matt surface can be obtained by means of suitable adjustment of formulation.
HC68 series is a composed salt of cyclic-amidine and multi-acid. It utilizes the two different reaction rates of group in molecular structure, and during the curing process, it generates nonuniform shrinkage then forms the matt surface. It has both gloss decreasing and curing functions.
