ADDITOL VXW 6235 gives rapid foam retardant results, which remains effective during storage of the aqueous powder coating. The flow property of the coating is not effected. Pin hole free films are obtained. ADDITOL VXW 6235 it is mainly recommended for powder coating materials to be used in aqueous systems eg: Emulsion paints, 2-component epoxy systems, Plasterwork, Filling compounds and scalants, Flooring compounds, Adhesives and Good effects are also seen in liquid non glossy water reducible coating systems.

ADDITOL XW 376 can be used in most waterborne emulsion paints and adhesives, and in synthetic resin-bound renderings. Good storage stability even at elevated temperatures. ADDITOL XW 376 is effective in large to fine particle size dispersions based on polyvinyl acetate, PVC, acrylates and their copolymers as well as alkyd resin emulsions. It is easily emulsified and also incorporated in low viscosity systems. ADDITOL XW 376 is equally useful in deaeration during pigment grinding and in the filling process. It is shear stable and alkali resistant up to pH = 13.

ADDITOL XW 329 is a paint additive to enhance mar resistance and slip and levelling, particularly of water dilutable paints.ADDITOL XW 329 is a silicone resin supplied as low viscous solvent containing liquid. ADDITOL XW 329 enhances the slip of the film surface and thus protects it from scratching and abrasion. Furthermore, ADDITOL XW 329 improves levelling of the film and prevents film defects. Thus the surface quality ingeneral is improved. In many cases gloss is also enhanced. ADDITOL XW 329 can be employed in water dilutable paints of any type. Reduced intercoat adhesion has not been experienced with the use of ADDITOL XW 329. The effect of ADDITOL XW 329 varies with the formulation of the paint. A level of 0.1 - 0.3 % of ADDITOL XW 329 on the finished paint may serve as a guide.

ADDITOL XW 395 Enhances surface properties of the films and prevents film defects like insufficient wetting and structured surfaces owing to impurities. ADDITOL XW 395 is an additive specially designed for Resydrol paint systems and, compatibility provided, for other waterborne paint systems. Considering the levels and restrictions given below ADDITOL XW 395 can be used in any water dilutable paint with the exception of electrodeposition paints. ADDITOL XW 395 prevents film defects, such as craters and pin holes or can remedy poor wetting owing to impurities brought into the aqueous paint during preperation or processing. Insufficiently degreased metal is the main cause for such troubles. With ADDITOL XW 395 wetting problems are avoided. It should be noted that film defects arising from silicone oils in many cases cannot be prevented with ADDITOL XW 395. ADDITOL XW 395 prevents floating of pigments, striation, orange peel, etc. and improves the film surface in general. ADDITOL XW 395 at the recommended levels, does not impair the physical properties of the stoved film. In primers ADDITOL XW 395 may cause a certain degree of gloss. Additions of ADDITOL XW 395 may adversely influence the effect of antifoaming agents; on the other hand, it can remedy infavourable effects of the antifoams. In aqueous paints for spray application ADDITOL XW 395 can be used without precautions, while in dipping or flow coating paints ADDITOL XW 395 must be carefully balanced with the antifoams normally present.
