ADDITOL VXL 4930 may be used in all solvent-containing and water-dilutable paint systems. It promotes the spray dust absorption, prevents orange peel and increases scratch resistance. ADDITOL VXL 4930 is effective at low concentrations and at the correct dosage, does not adversely affect intercoat adhesion. Blistering, cratering and floating in pigment blends are effectively prevented. It does not stabilize the foam during paint production and application. The substrate wetting is advanced.ADDITOL VXL 4930 is used primarily in industrial stoving/baking paints and 2K PUR paint systems.

ADDITOL VXW 6235 gives rapid foam retardant results, which remains effective during storage of the aqueous powder coating. The flow property of the coating is not effected. Pin hole free films are obtained. ADDITOL VXL 4950 is a product without special pre-treatment of plastic materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polyamide (e.g. corona discharge, roughening, flame or chromic acid treatment) good adhesion of coatings can be obtained after applying a thin adhesion promoting layer of ADDITOL VXL 4950 to the surfaces. For plastic substrates made of polyethylene a short period of additional UV-irradiation of this film is recommendable. In general irradiation of ADDITOL VXL 4950-coatings can further improve adhesion .

ADDITOL VXL 6237 N

ADDITOL VXL 6237 N improves the wetting of very difficult-to-disperse pigments, specially in aromatic free solventborne highgrade automotive series, car repair and industrial paints. Shortens the dispersing time. Prevents the reflocculation of the pigments. Improves gloss and levelling. ADDITOL VXL 6237 N permits a higher pigmentation of the mill base without increasing viscosity and shortens the dispersing time. The ready pigment pastes and paints are distinguished by a high colloidal stability and do not tend to a reflocculation of the pigments. By using ADDITOL VXL 6237 N in solvents containing acrylate systems, a stabilizing effect on the binder can be observed.
