N-HANCE BF13 Cationic Guar by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a thickener and conditioning agent. This quaternary polymer is a medium-cationic-substitution, high-molecular-weight polymer. It is boron-free which differentiates it from typical cationic guars. It is substantive to anionic surfaces such as skin and hair. Upon dilution of the surfactants with water, the cationic guar will complex with the anionic surfactants. The complex will deposit cosmetically effective levels of ingredients such as silicone or emollient oils onto hair and skin.

N-HANCE SP-100 Conditioning Polymer is a new polymer, specifically designed for use in personal care applications. It is typically used as a substantive conditioning polymer in rinse-off surfactant systems, such as shampoos, to reduce tangling and improve wet and dry comb properties of hair after shampooing. It is especially useful for delivering a highly conditioned feel to wet and dry hair. This product can also be added to bath and shower gels to improve skin feel after bathing or showering.

N HANCE 3215 by Ashland Specialty Chemical is a conditioning and thickener. It is compatible with most anionic surafactants. It imparts soft and luxurious afterfeel to the skin. It develops foam with better stability, lather and skin lubricating properties. N-Hance™ 3215 Cationic Guar is used in hair care products like shampoos, skin care products like soaps, hand-, body and facial emulsions and shaving creams. This high cationic substitution, high molecular weight polymer is substantive to anionic surfaces like skin and hair.
