LUNA-MER 552 is a curing agent for TGICfree, exterior durable powder coatings based on carboxyl functional polyesters. Cured film performance is substantially comparable to those of Polyester/TGIC systems. Luna-pal K80 is a highly light-fast, rigid resin with light color. It is soluble in most solvents used in the coating industry, excluding aliphatic hydrocarbons and water. It is compatible with many resin materials used in paint and ink. Luna-pal K80 can improve the gloss, adhesion, pigment wetting, film hardness and solid content, and reduce the overall viscosity. When used in adhesives, it can improve the initial adhesion, and especially improve the lasting adhesion. Softening point: 75-95°C.
