Phenoxyethanol Benzyl Alcohol Ethylhexylglycerin

EUXYL K 940 is a liquid cosmetic preservative based on phenoxyethanol, benzyl alcohol and ethylhexylglycerin. The addition of ethylhexylglycerin affects the interfacial tension at the cell membrane of microorganisms, improving the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol and benzyl alcohol. euxyl® K 940 has a broad, balanced spectrum of effect against bacteria, yeasts and mould fungi.

Propylene Glycol Octenidine HCl Ethylhexylglycerin

TPI 2007 ia a deodorant active ingredient . Combines the well-known deodorant and skin care properties of ethylhexylglycerin with the antimicrobial properties of octenidine HCl. The synergistic combination of these active ingredients provides good efficacy in deodorants at very low use concentrations. TPI 2007 reliably inhibits the growths and multiplication of odour-causing bacteria on the skin. TPI 2007 is a nearly colourless to light yellow liquid concentrate with a slight characteristic odour.

The max. recommended use level is 0.1 % in rinse-off and 0.05 % in leave-on products. (Corresponds to the international recommendation of a maximum use concentration of 15 ppm and 7.5 ppm active ingredients in this class of products)
