SETAL 84 XX-70 is a very good durability, excellent colour and gloss retention , high body. SETAL 199 SS-55 is a good drying properties, very good body, good colour, gloss retention and exterior durability. It is used as auto-repair enamels; Enamels for cars, trucks and buses; Enamels for tractors and agricultural equipment; Air-drying industrial enamels.

SETAL A U 601 HV TBA is in the formulation of fast-drying hard-wearing wood finishes and DIY and decorative sealers. General SETAL A U 601 HV TBA is an isocyanate-modified alkyd resin with a high crosslinking density. The paint films are characterised by their good performance properties such as hardness and flexibility. They are therefore highly resistant to wear and abrasion. They also have good resistance towater and household cleaning agents. The use of the following driers is recommended: 0.03 % cobalt 6, 0.60 % zirconium 18 and 0.10 % calcium 4. The metal content is always calculated on the solvent-free resin.Methylethyl ketoximen has proved ideal as an anti-skinning agent for these formulations. The amount required is 1.0 %, calculated on the solvent-free binder. Wood finishes: typical applications for SETAL A U 601 HV TBA include the formulation of coatings for indoor use, e.g. for doors and window frames and for parquet flooring. It can also be used in coatings for garden furniture, boats and other such substrates. Coatings based on SETAL A U 601 HV TBA can be matted easily with small amounts of matting agent. Combination of SETAL A U 601 HV TBA with SETAL A F 681 yields highbodied gloss coatings. The brushability, especially of DIY paints, can be optimised by the addition of small amounts of SETAL A U 601 TIX TBA (approx. 5 - 10%, calculated on SETAL A U 601 HV TBA). Coatings based on SETAL A U 601 HV TBA dry to formdefectfree films on most tropical woods so no special impregnation is necessary beforehand. However, given the many different types of tropical woods and their very different properties and constituents, trials should always be carried out. Important - Depending on their viscosity, coatings based on SETAL A U 601 HV TBA can be applied by brushing, rolling or spraying. Sprayingmust be carried out inwaterrinsed spray booths. Spray mists must be regularly removed to prevent ignition.

SETAL 142 XX-60 is very fast drying, good elasticity and yellowing resistance (also at elevated temperature), good adhesion on steel. It is used as fast drying industrial topcoats. Fast drying corrosion resistant primers. General purpose stoving enamels.
