Due to their flexible polymer backbone, dimethicones have high permeability to gases (e.g. water vapor, oxygen), which allows respiration of the skin.

BELSIL® CM7026VP is a high melting, white to cream coloured, silicone wax that is resistant to hydrolysis and has a very high affinity to all kinds of substrates.
