LAMINIXYL IS biofunctional by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as an anti-aging active. It is a laminin-5 peptide designed to help preserve skin integrity and the dermal-epidermal junction. It stimulates the synthesis of laminin-5 and b1 integrin and keratins involved in cell-to-cell adhesion, improving the skin barrier function. It promotes the synthesis of extracellular matrix proteins, thereby consolidating the support network of the skin.

KLUCEL™ HPC is a nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether with unique combination of properties, It is soluble in cold-water and polar organic solvents, surface active, and forms films of exceptional flexibility without addition of plasticizers.

LUBRAJEL BA hydrogel is a clathrate of glyceryl acrylate and glyceryl polyacrylate that encloses water molecules via hydrogen bonding and Van der Waals forces. As supplied, this product contains about 50 weight % water. Since it binds moisture and is a highly viscous gel, Lubrajel™ BA hydrogel is an ideal ingredient to provide moisture to the mouth.

It combines solubility in aqueous and polar organic solvents, thermoplasticity, and surface activity with the thickening and stabilizing properties of other water-soluble cellulose polymers. HPC films are flexible without plasticizers and non-tacky at high humidity.
