Tacrolimus is an immunosuppressive drug. It is used after allogeneic organ transplant to lower the risk of organ rejection and also as a topical medication in the treatment of T-cell-mediated diseases such as eczema and psoriasis.
Everolimus is a medication used as an immunosuppressant to prevent rejection of organ transplants and in the treatment of renal cell cancer and other tumours. Much research has also been conducted on everolimus and other mTOR inhibitors as targeted therapy for use in a number of cancers.
Mycophenolate Mofetil (CellCept) and Mycophenolate Sodium (Myfortic) are immunosuppressant drugs (a class of drugs that reduce the strength of the body's immune system) used in the treatment of several autoimmune diseases.
