LUNA-MER B68-LC is a salt of a polycarboxylic acid and is a cyclic amidine. LUNA-MER B68-LC is a hardener to produce matt to dead matt pure epoxy and epoxy polyester powder coatings. Cured films based on this hardener offer excellent flow and mechanical properties. Variations between matt and dead-matt gloss can be obtained by suitable adjustment of the formulation. Epoxy polyester coatings with matt or dead-matt gloss may be achieved by replacing a portion of the polyester with an equivalent quantity of Luna®-mer B68-LC.

LUNA-MER B-68-C is a crosslinkable matting agent for epoxy and/or epoxy/polyester powder coatings, which provides consistent gloss when cured at 180°C minimum. 60° gloss range between 0-25% can be achieved.

HC68 series is a composed salt of cyclic-amidine and multi-acid. It utilizes the two different reaction rates of group in molecular structure, and during the curing process, it generates nonuniform shrinkage then forms the matt surface. It has both gloss decreasing and curing functions.
