N-HANCE BF 17 Cationic Guar by Ashland Specialty Chemical is a thickener and conditioning agent. It is boron-free & cross-linked with glyoxal which differentiates it from typical cationic guars. This quaternary polymer is a medium-cationic-substitution, high-molecular-weight polymer which is substantive to anionic surfaces such as skin and hair. N-Hance™ BF-17 Cationic Guar is designed for use in shampoos and body washes. Upon dilution of the surfactants with water, the cationic guar will complex with the anionic surfactants. The complex will deposit cosmetically effective levels of ingredients such as silicone or emollient oils onto hair and skin.

N-HANCE CCG 45 Cationic Guar by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a conditioning agent. Exhibits low molecular weight and optimized charge density. It enables excellent skin feel and conditioning without build up. Provides tangle-free wet combing and silky dry hair feel.

N-HANCE 4572 Conditioning Polymer by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a conditioning and thickening agent. It is a medium charge density, high molecular weight cationic polymer composition with ability to deliver high levels of conditioning oil to hair or skin from cleansing formulations while allowing formulators to reduce active conditioning oil levels by 25-50%. Promotes wet and dry combing leaving the hair with a silky dry feel. It improves wet feel and increases the slip and lubricity of hair, important for reducing tangles. It can improve skin feel after bathing and showering.

N HANCE 3196 by Ashland Specialty Chemical is a low viscosity thickener and conditioning agent. It is a highly cationic, high molecular weight polymer. It is substantive to anionic surfaces like skin and hair. It is compatible with most anionic surfactants. It develops foam with better stability, lather and skin lubricating properties. Imparts soft and luxurious afterfeel to the skin.
