SETATHANE D 1155 is applied in combination with e.g. SETATHANE D 1145 and 1150 in the formulation of coatings SETATHANE D 1155 is not recommended as a sole binder. SETATHANE D E 2767 is applied in combination with aromatic polyisocyanates based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate as binder for solvent-free two-component polyurethane coatings with high chemical resistance for concrete and other porous substrates, fillers, sealing compounds and synthetic resin mortars. SETATHANE D E 2767 is suitable for the formulation of coatings, mortars and sealers with high chemical resistance. Coatings formulated with SETATHANE D E 2767 generally exhibit outstanding resistance to organic and inorganic acids, alkalis and solvents. Over-cross linking of 50 % and more is usual. This allows a wide-ranging variation in flow and chemical resistance. To ensure blister-free curing, SETATHANE D E 2767 requires the addition of hydrated lime in accordance with DIN EN 12 518 (or cement if necessary) as a CO2 scavenger. In certain cases where the film thickness is less than 100 μm, there is no need to add hydrated lime.
