ADDITOL VXL 4930 may be used in all solvent-containing and water-dilutable paint systems. It promotes the spray dust absorption, prevents orange peel and increases scratch resistance. ADDITOL VXL 4930 is effective at low concentrations and at the correct dosage, does not adversely affect intercoat adhesion. Blistering, cratering and floating in pigment blends are effectively prevented. It does not stabilize the foam during paint production and application. The substrate wetting is advanced.ADDITOL VXL 4930 is used primarily in industrial stoving/baking paints and 2K PUR paint systems.

ADDITOL VXW 6393 was designed to destroy foam generated in emulsion wall-paints, based on PVAC, PVC, acrylics and their mixed polymers. Prior to using ADDITOL VXW 6393 it should be thoroughly agitated since it is prone to sediment fall out. When examining its rheology it is necessary to wait an additional 5 minutes. ADDITOL VXW 6393 can be easily emulsified and worked into the designated product.

ADDITOL XL 122 is a paint additive to enhance mar resistance and slip and to improve flow and levelling in air drying and stoving paints. ADDITOL XL 122 is a silicone type paint additive. It enhances the resistance of solventborne paints to mechanical attack by increasing the slip of the paint surface. Furthermore, ADDITOL XL 122 improves levelling and flow prevents surface defects like orange peel and thus in general contributes to the formation of flawless film surfaces with enhanced sheen. In coil coating and can coating paints as well as in furniture enamels ADDITOL XL 122 is used to prevent blocking also. ADDITOL XL 122 can be employed with air drying alkyd resin paints, alkyd resin stoving paints, thermosetting acrylic paints, nitrocellulose lacquers, acid curing paints, alkyd-isocyanate paints or acrylics, isocyanate enamels. Paints containing ADDITOL XL 122 can be recoated in general without additional treatment of the surface. The effect of ADDITOL XL 122 varies with the formulation of the paint. A level of 0.05 to 0.3 % of ADDITOL XL 122 on the finished paint may serve as a guide.

ADDITOL XL 480´s Additive to improve surface quality of paint films, particularly automotive coatings. ADDITOL XL 480 may be used with any type of paint material, e.g. on the basis of alkyd/melamine systems, acrylics, polyurethane systems, oil-free polyesters, etc. ADDITOL XL 480 prevents surface defects of paint films. In most cases, the coemployment of ADDITOL XL 480 helps to prevent craters, even caused by neighbouring spray mists of other paints. Further, film defects caused by applicational conditions, like poor levelling,uneven surface, etc. can be avoided.
