Tenofovir alafenamide is a hepatitis B virus nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus infection in adults with compensated liver disease.

Tenofovir disoproxil is a medication used to treat chronic hepatitis B and to prevent and treat HIV/AIDS. It is generally recommended for use with other antiretrovirals.

Trimethoprim is an antibiotic used mainly in the treatment of bladder infections. Other uses include for middle ear infections and travelers' diarrhea. With sulfamethoxazole or dapsone it may be used for Pneumocystis pneumonia in people with HIV/AIDS.
