LIPIGENINE biofunctional by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a moisturizing and nourishing agent. It is based on flax seed extract. It enhances the skin's natural lipidic synthesis in the stratum corneum. It enhances in vitro and ex vivo antimicrobial peptides (cathelicidin and beta defensins). It helps restore lipid content in the stratum corneum following detergent damage and overall beautify the skin. Lipigenine™ biofunctional contains phenoxyethanol and sodium benzoate preservative.

LAMINIXYL IS biofunctional by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as an anti-aging active. It is a laminin-5 peptide designed to help preserve skin integrity and the dermal-epidermal junction. It stimulates the synthesis of laminin-5 and b1 integrin and keratins involved in cell-to-cell adhesion, improving the skin barrier function.
