Liquorice Root Extract is a hydrophilic active composed by saponin like glycoside, 50 times sweeter than sugar. The root of liquorice it have been used as a Chinese medicine. Thanks to the composition of liquorice, it can absorb UVB and UVA. It has an excellent efficacy on free radical scavenging and it reduces lipoxygenase activity.
